While Moses went up to God, the Lord called to him out of the mountain, saying, ‘Thus you shall say to the house of Jacob… you shall be to me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’
– Exodus 19:3-6
Salvation is not only about avoiding judgment or securing eternal life. It is fundamentally about being restored to God’s mission on earth. We are rescued to participate in God’s redemptive work among the nations, extending His grace, proclaiming His truth, and living as a community that reveals His reign. When believers reduce salvation to a personal spiritual outcome, they miss the larger purpose of their calling. But when we embrace our identity as priests, our daily lives—our work, our relationships, our witness—become channels through which God invites the world back to Himself.
Prayer
Father, thank You for rescuing me with a purpose. Help me to live each day as Your priest, participating in Your mission to bring blessing and restoration to the world. Amen.
