If the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Paul lifts our eyes from the present struggle to the ultimate hope of resurrection. The Holy Spirit is not only active in our daily sanctification, but also guarantees our future glorification. The logic is that if the same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead now lives in you, then your resurrection is inevitable. Just as the Spirit brought Jesus out of the tomb, He will one day raise your mortal body to everlasting life. In a world marked by decay, weakness, and death, this is a wonderful promise: your body, once subject to death, will be made alive.
The Spirit is the down payment of what is to come (cf. Eph. 1:13–14). Our assurance of salvation is therefore both present and future: present, because the Spirit dwells in us; future, because His presence is a pledge of resurrection. When our bodies feel frail, or death seems near, or we grieve what is fading, we do not lose heart. The Spirit who raised Christ is in us. We are assured that He will also raise us on that day. The grave will not have the final word.

God of life, I praise You that death is not the end. Thank You for the Spirit who raised Jesus and now lives in me. Strengthen my hope in the resurrection to come. Amen.
