And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work… He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will supply and multiply your seed for sowing and increase the harvest of your righteousness. You will be enriched in every way to be generous in every way…
– 2 Corinthians 9:8–11a
God’s provision is not sporadic but continuous, not reluctant but abounding. When God enriches us, it is never merely for comfort or accumulation but so that “in every way” we may grow in generosity. The more we grasp this truth, the more we recognise that generosity is not an act of depletion but participation in God’s ongoing generosity toward us. Our generosity becomes a testimony that our confidence is rooted not in our resources but in the God who never withholds His grace.
